  Dr. Terry L. Watson

  Dentist

  The Nash Institute is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Terry Watson to our faculty. Due to the demands for EFDA related composite programs at the Nash Institute, we have added a course for Direct Composite Restorations for EFDA Assistants and Doctors. Dr. Watson will be the clinical instructor for this program. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Arkansas State University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Watson has completed several post graduate programs including implant dentistry, orthodontics, and Sleep Appliance Therapy. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the ADA, Tennessee Dental Association, and Nashville Dental Society. He is also a member of the American Orthodontic Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Music City Study Club. For six years, Dr. Watson has been awarded Best Dentists of America and received local recognition for his community service. Dr. Watson is a graduate of the Nash Institute for Dental Learning Continuum. Dr. Watson will be offering two dates in 2023 for the EFDA Direct Composite Restorations.

  Penny Reed

  Dental Spealer

  Penny Reed is a dental speaker, and the Chief Growth Officer at eAssist Dental Solutions. Penny was recruited by her own dentist to run his growing practice, after spending two years as an IT manager with the Walmart Corporation. Penny has over 30 years of experience as a speaker and dental business coach and has been designated a Leader in Dental Consulting by Dentistry Today from 2007 to present. She is a certified “Behavioral Consultant” through the Institute for Motivational Living, and a former Dale Carnegie Trainer. Penny is the author of two books, Growing Your Dental Business and Persuade With A Case Acceptance Story. Penny supports the marketing department at eAssist, the nation’s leader in outsourced dental billing. She speaks at dental meetings about effective revenue cycle management, practice growth, and team culture. Penny is a member of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants, The Speaking and Consulting Network, and a Speaking/Consulting member of American Association of Dental Office Management.

  Debra Engelhardt Nash

  Debra Engelhardt - Nash has been in dentistry since 1985 as a consultant, trainer, author and speaker. She has presented workshops nationally and internationally for numerous associations and study clubs . She is a repeat presenter for organizations including Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting, the Yankee Dental Meeting, The Swedish Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Greater New York Dental Meeting . Debra has also appeared on several podcasts and webinars and authored several articles for dental publications. Debra served three terms as the President of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants who presented her their Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the Charles Kidd Meritorious Service Award . She is the Immediate Past President of the Academy for Private Practice Dentistry . She has been repeatedly recognized as a Leader in Consulting and Education by Dentistry Today and has been listed as top 25 Women in Dentistry. Debra is also the recipient of the Gordon Christensen Lecturer Recognition Award. Together with her husband, Dr. Ross Nash, Debra is the co - founder of the Nash Institute for Dental Learning – a post graduate training center in cosmetic and esthetic techniques and dental business administration training.
