  Before joining the Goddard family, the healthcare and IT industries had my heart as a standards representative. However, with the birth of my children came a passion for early childhood education, and that’s where my “heart” work began with The Goddard School. Guiding children to learn through play, explore their feelings, and express their wants, needs in a nurturing, enriched, five-star school carry out my passion for contributing to education. • Alesia

  Hello, my name is Alesia Moore.I bring over a decade of experience as a licensed family childcare provider in Connecticut, and in 2022 I relocated to North Carolina to continue my work in the early childhood field. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and I am a Level 3 Administrator with the state of North Carolina. Working with children has always been my passion, and I am truly excited to join The Goddard Family. I look forward to meeting everyone and contributing to a warm, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

  Hello, my name is Etta. I am thrilled to join The Goddard School team. I bring 18 years of experience working with young children, including 10 years in management. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from UNC Charlotte and am a Level III Administrator in North Carolina. I look forward to partnering with families and supporting the growth and development of the children in our care.

  Hi! My name is Alyssa and I recently moved to North Carolina from Georgia. I have a degree in Psychology from Augusta University. I have experience working as an RBT with children on the autism spectrum. I am excited to be at The Goddard School working with the toddlers where I can continue to make an impact on young children's lives.

  Hello! I'm Ms. Ashley. I have been an infant teacher for the past four years, and I hold an infant and toddler care certificate. I love observing and supporting babies as they reach their developmental milestones and I am excited to be a member of the Goddard team. I am an alumnus of UNC-Charlotte where I obtained both my bachelor's and master's degrees in English. My master's includes a concentration in children's literature, which I am passionate about bringing into the classroom environment. I look forward to developing relationships with my children and families as we grow together here at Goddard.

  Hi My name is Jayla. I have been working with young children since 2018. I am currently pursuing my associates in arts degree with a certification in special education. I plan to continue my education by earning my bachelors and masters in child psychology. I have a strong passion for working with young children. I love watching them grow, learn, and gain confidence. I am nurturing, compassionate, and dedicated to creating a warm and engaging environment that allows children to feel secure, supported, and eager to explore and learn.

  Hi! My name is Jency, and I recently moved here from Savannah Georgia. I'm incredibly thankful to be a part of The Goddard School of Huntersville. I've been working with children for four years and earned my CDA in 2023. I'm currently working to take a few more education courses as I'm passionate about growing in this field.   Hello! I am Miss Katharine, and I’m so excited to be part of the team here at The Goddard School of Huntersville! I’ve had many years of experience with children; ranging from babysitting, overnight nannying, and most recently working in childcare centers. I believe play is crucial for children, and that’s why fostering their natural curiosities is so fun and important to me. I love seeing how they learn and interact with the world, and how they change and grow into their own person through positive interactions and experiences.   Hello, my name is Ms. Katrina. I have over 2 decades of experience working in early childhood and I have earned my Early Childhood level 1 admin credential from the state. I have dedicated my career to nurturing and supporting the youngest learners. My passion lies in creating a safe and stimulating environment where infants can thrive. I have been married for over 25 years and we have 4 adult children and 8 amazing grandchildren. I love to spend time with my family. In our classroom our motto is "nurturing young hearts today shapes the world's future tomorrow."

  Hi, my name is Andrea. I'm from Southern California, born and raised. I am a mom to a beautiful boy named Clark and dog mom to a toy maltipoo named Emily (my first born) and a chihuahua named Riley. I consider myself an avid hiker and reader, reading mainly fantasy, romance and literature. I love the outdoors and a scenic view and hope to one day fulfill my dream of becoming a Pilot. I've worked in childcare and education since my teen years which, insanely, was a decade ago. My current obsession is cooking. I've been vegetarian for 13 years, so getting creative is an essential part of my life. I'm so excited to get to know and grow with each of your children. Here at Goddard I am able to work with all children, but I primarily work with the infants. I’ve always had a passion for working with children and they never fail to put a smile on my face!   Hi, my name is Juliana! I have always valued education. I helped lead various service clubs, including the Honor Society and Key Club, throughout my time in high school, and graduated in 2024 with a Cambridge AICE diploma. I believe that there is so much to learn from children, and that they flourish when their autonomy and individuality are respected. As an assistant teacher, I hope to inspire positive, formative memories for your children as my earliest teachers once did for me. I’m excited to work at Goddard, and just as excited to meet you!

  Hi everyone! My name is Karen Chiarenza. When I was a sophomore in high school I became involved with coaching in the Special Olympics. I knew then that I wanted to become an educator for all children. After attending Iowa Wesleyan college on partial scholarships for Field Hockey and Academics I transferred to St. Joseph's College on Long Island where I graduated and earned my B.A in education/special needs. My teaching opportunities include children with special needs, pre-school and kindergarten through second grade. Strength training, walking, reading, writing and photography are a few of my various interests. I believe my creativity, wisdom and life experience will both nurture, and expand the growth of our children. I am thrilled to be a part of such and out-standing school!

I have 6 years of experience working within childcare. I have served as a camp counselor, preschool assistant teacher and behavior analyst for children with special needs.   "Teaching and Baking is a work of heart" My name is Lumarie Chevere and I was born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico. I graduated in 2021 from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in baking and pastry arts. I have worked at Walt Disney World and being able to meet people from all around the world was a magical experience that I will never forget. Becoming part of the Goddard school has been a dream of mine that allows me to serve the community as well as teach and create a bond with the kids that I will carry with me forever. In my free time I do enjoy baking at home, building Legos for my collection and play pickleball.

  Hi, my name is Mariana, and I’m originally from Argentina. I’ve recently moved to Charlotte, NC, from Milwaukee, WI, and I’m excited to be a part of this wonderful community. With 15 years of experience working with children in both public and private schools, as well as daycares, I am passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive environment for every child. I will be supporting the infant and toddler room and I'm very exited to start this new journey. I truly believe that early education is essential for helping children build a strong foundation for their future.   Hello Parents! My Name is Shantay, but I go by Ms. B. I’m honored to serve as a toddler teacher here at The Goddard School. I have several years of experience working with young children and truly enjoy helping them learn, explore, and grow each day. I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels safe and supported. I hold my CDA certification and am trained in First Aid, CPR, and SIDS prevention. My goal is to inspire curiosity, confidence, and kindness in each child while partnering with families to support their development, I also believe every child deserves patience, encouragement, and joy in their early learning experiences, and I strive to create a classroom filled with curiosity, care, and connection.

  Hello! My name is Zyn-Soulai, but I go by Zyn. I have been cooking for over 20 years and have a certificate in ServSafe for food handling. Cooking and serving people is a part of my love language! I also enjoy anything artsy, such as painting, drawing, and working with my hands. I also enjoy writing and am an author. I am excited to be a part of the Goddard team here in Huntersville!
